“I am the vine, you are the branches, He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit, for without me you can do nothing.” John 15:5

Jesus says to His disciples, If you are my disciples, you can do nothing without me. A life completely dependent on God and His word is the life God expects from us. What is a Christian life without complete dependence on God? Somebody once said, Christian Life becomes complete when you realize that you are nothing without Jesus. In this world where we have lot of voices all around and lot of avenues to exalt our self more, is it possible for a complete dependence on God is the question. Sometimes we feel as why we have to unnecessarily disturb God for some petty issues. But you know what, God really expect His child to ask his opinion for even those small things, because many times we fail in those small areas of our life, which leads to a greater change in our life. Jesus seeks us to be dependent on Him wholly as the branches are completely dependent on the Vine to bear fruit. If we expect our life to bring forth fruit, there is no other way than surrendering totally to Him. A life that is completely dependent on Him will lack nothing.
