The miracle
Great was the miracle
When Abraham, old beyond age
Beheld Isaac, new born
His righteousness’ wage
Great was that miracle
When the rod in Moses’ hand
Parted the sea twain
And Israel walked on dry land
Great was the miracle
When the three men walked the furnace
Heated seven fold over yet
Unhurt unburned they did surface
Great was the miracle
When as token of Daniel’s faith
Sealed was the lion’s mouth
That to devour layeth
But greater still was that miracle
When the Almighty, the King of Creation
Came down to earth a mere babe
To show mankind His passion
Greater still was that miracle
When Thou Oh Lord! Supreme Divine
Wert crucified on that shameful cross
To call me, a sinner, Thine!!
